COME AND JOIN US ON A TRACK DAY THIS SATURDAY................

GBS would like to invite you all to join us at a Track Day this Saturday 24th March at Mallory Park, if your not taking part your welcome to Spectate we are taking with us our Zero demonstrator, also the new Zero Race Car. A lot of the GBS team will be there both watching and driving, it will be another great day out we look forward to seeing you all there!

Yesterday GBS customer Tony Bunn came to collect his GBS Zero that we prepared and put through its IVA test for him. Tony collected his Zero kit from us just before Christmas, we look forward to Tony joining us on some track days later in the year.
The GBS Workshop team are also in the process of building a Robin Hood 2B for Mr John Sands, who bought his 2B kit many years ago to build himself but has never full filled his dream. The build is going well and Mr Sands is very pleased with progress of his car, we are hoping to get it all finished and on the road for April this year.

Both GBS and Kit Spares will be attending Detling Kit Car Show next month, we will be taking with us a range of GBS Zero cars and a full range of parts and spares.

2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Ford released the official pricing for the 2013 Mustang Shelby GT500, a well-known muscle car which will be available both as Coupe and Convertible.
To begin with, the American model receives a starting price of $54,200 which does not include the $795 destination fee.

The Convertible variant is slightly expensive with a price tag of $59,200 which is about $5,000 more expensive than the outgoing model.

Under the bonnet, the American muscle car gets power from a 5.8-liter supercharged unit able to deliver 650 horses and 814 Nm (600 lb-ft) of torque. A six-speed manual transmission transfers the power from the V8 engine to the rear wheels.
With such resources, the GT500 hits a top speed of 320 km/h for Coupe and a limited 250 km/h in case of the Convertible.

If you want even more, there is a SVT Performance Package which will add new Bilstein adjustable dampers, revised springs, new 19-inch (front) and 20-inch (rear) forged wheels but also a Torsen differential. Inside, you will get a new gear shift knob along with a reworked instrument cluster, all these for an additional $3,495.
