Honda Accord

The Honda Accord & the Accord Hubcaps are part of a series that has mid-size cars that have been produced by Honda ever since 1976.

In 1982, the Honda Accord & the Accord Wheel Covers were considered to be the first Japanese car that was manufactured in the United States. Not only was it made here, but it was even made in countries like New Zealand, England, China, & even Thailand! If you'd assume, I guess you can say that this car is what people prefer worldwide; since it's manufactured in so many other parts of the world. You know?

The Accord, as well as the Accord Wheel Covers that came on it, has been pretty successful throughout its different generations. From the years of 1982-1997, it was known as the best selling Japanese automobile; in 1991 & 2001, there was about 10 Million of these cars sold! If you were to compare the tests that it went through back then and the tests that it goes through now, you'd see that even up to this day, the Honda Accord is considered to be one of the most reliable cars on the market as of this point.

Honda Accord

Ever since it first came out, there has been a lot of different body styles & different versions of the Honda Accord. When it first came out in 1976, it was made as a compact hatchback - this style was used until about 1981. The lineup was eventually expanded to include a sedan, wagon, and even a coupe model with the "oh so very nice" OEM Accord Hub Caps on them. By the time it reached the sixth generation (around the 1990s), the Accord turned into something called an intermediate vehicle; it just had one basic platform - but with different bodies & different proportions so it can increase its competitiveness within the international markets.

The current Honda Accord that was originally released in 2008 is a little bigger compared to the other models. The reason why is because they wanted to move the car further upscale in the market. After this was done, the EPA (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) considered the Accord to be a full-size car, but the coupe to be a mid-size one.

Honda Civic

Honda is a recognized manufacturer of power equipment, recreational vehicles and most importantly, cars. The Honda Civic carries on a legacy of a model that has been a very successful seller. In 1973 Honda introduced the civic. Since then the civic has become Hondas number one seller.

The Honda Civic is available in the following trim levels or models; DS, LX, EX EXL, SI, and Mugen. The DS is a so called "stripped down" version which is usually not as plentiful as the other models. The LX model has the most popular items, such as power windows, locks, CD player and air. The EX will have the same options as the LX but adds rims instead of hubcaps and a six disc changer. The 2010 EXL will have all of the features standard to the previously mentioned models and added leather and sunroof. The SI and Mugen are specialty cars and offer several features or options to choose from.

The Civic LX model sells the best. Why is this? Because it has what most people want in options. By putting the most popular features in the LX model, the Honda Civic LX remains the best seller out of the lineup.

Honda Civic

One important thing to remember is that the Civic is available in the coupe and sedan model. Honda has managed to create a sedan, or four door car that has the visual aspects of a two door, or coupe design. The sedan outsells the coupe because of the styling aspects and versatility.

The Honda Civic has an outstanding warranty. For the first three years or thirty six thousand miles the owner is covered under what is called a "bumper to bumper" warranty. For this period everything but wear and tear items such as brakes, windshield wipers and light bulbs are covered. The Honda Civic also comes with a standard five year, sixty thousand mile power train warranty. The power train warranty covers all internal parts of the motor and components of the transmission. For added protection Honda has several options that will extend your warranty coverage time or components. Most of the time these extended warranties can be financed into the total price of the car.

Honda Civic

For over forty years the Honda Civic has remained an excellent seller for the company. The Civic carries on Hondas tradition of providing reasonably priced quality vehicles to the public. In return Honda has become a leader in car manufacturing. The Civic will hold its resale value and provide years of enjoyment that eventually may be passed down from generation to generation. Customer reviews of the Honda Civic are strong and reflect the editor's reviews of being a dependable car.

Mercedes Car

That Mercedes of yours is not some fuel-saving, spendthrift, racing-striped go-cart you're driving here. It consists of sumptuous, high-performance Mercedes parts arranged in a manner of technological mastery in order to deliver a driving experience that is second to none. What you're driving is the confluence of advanced engineering and custom Mercedes Parts compiled into the very definition of luxury.

So tell me, can you explain the sullying layer of dirt and grime so thick that you see nothing but darkness in the rearview mirror? Can you tell my why the magnificent black and chrome luster sparkles in the afternoon sun about as well as a tortoise shell? My goodness, are those door-dings I see on the paintjob?

Mercedes Car

Sit down, sir. It's time we had a little chat. It's about time I let you in on a growing epidemic that is rocking the very foundations of our beloved Mercedes vehicles: car care ineptitude. It has become all-too-common a problem among Mercedes enthusiasts, as well as all luxury car owners in general. This is puzzling, to say the least, since taking proper care of all those fine Mercedes parts is much easier than one might believe.

Personally, I like to think of owning a Mercedes as analogous to having a pet. Owning one brings you satisfaction and contentment. It adds an extra jig to your step and makes you feel proud that wherever you go, whatever you do, your loyal pet is there accompanying you.

Mercedes Car

On one hand, you can treat it with the utmost care, feeding it the best food, bathing it regularly, and training it to obey your commands. And in the end, your pet will reward you with years of problem-free service and devotion.

On the other hand, you can neglect it and take it for granted. Then some years down the line, the embittered and lackluster piece of machinery that was once a joy to own will ultimately fill you with regret and self-consciousness. The once formidable mass of Custom Mercedes parts that comprised your luxury vehicle simply ceases to be luxurious, and all that remains is a dingy, shell of a vehicle that sputters down the highway collecting dust.

BMW 2013

BMW’s supercar, the M1, was sold between 1978 to 1981 as the only mid-engined BMW to be mass produced. But you’d expect more from a maker like BMW, right? And with all the competition on the market, BMW had to do something about it, so they decided to put the Vision Efficient Dynamics Concept unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show into production.

It’s not the first time we hear about the possibility of the Vision Efficient Dynamics going into production, but today we have more details about the production version: the i8. And while the concept is powered by a three cylinder turbo diesel power plant combined with two electric motors, the i8 will be offered in both electric and hybrid versions.

Rumors suggest that the Project i Coupe won’t be flying solo as BMW may be panning on an M version for this future model and it will most likely be called the M1.

UPDATE 03/14/11: The BMW i8 hybrid sports coupe was recently spotted by Bimmerpost undergoing cold-weather testing somewhere in Northern Europe. Word has it that the i8 hybrid sports coupe will now come with a gas engine as opposed to the previously held position of diesel engine variants. According to BMW’s research and development chief, Klaus Draeger, the company has big plans for the i8 sports hybrid coupe, one that involves being sold not just in Europe, but all over the world. Sounds good to hear, if you ask us. While we wait for the production version to arrive sometime in 2013, we can pass time by checking out these three testing videos after the jump.

BMW 2013

UPDATE 05/27/11: BMW has unveiled a new video of the i8 set to be revealed in 2013. The video was filmed in Abu Dhabi and illustrates yet again what a cool car the i8 will be. Hit the jump for the video.

UPDATE 02/14/12: The upcoming BMW i8 has been caught testing one more time, this time revealing its gullwing doors.

UPDATE 06/19/12: Today we have a new rendering for you of the upcoming BMW i8.

BMW 2013

Exterior and Interior
When BMW first announced it’s plans to put the Vision Efficient Dynamics into production, a company source said: "there will be less of the synthetic glass and more solid structure added to the final design." How can this be translated? The i8 will be built on an aluminum chassis which houses the powertrain and the passenger cell. This cell consists of high-strength, but extremely lightweight carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP). It will be built at BMW’s Leipzig plant starting 2013.

BMW 2013

2013 BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Supercar
According to an unnamed "senior BMW authority out of Munich" speaking with InsideLine, the German automaker will indeed build a production version of the Vision EfficientDynamics concept that debuted last year at the Frankfurt Motor Show. BMW is reportedly planning for a model run of between 5,000 and 10,000 units in 2013. We'll get to the details in a moment, but here's the best news: "That name that the marketing people forced on us [is] going to change for sure." Phew.

BMW 2013

Apparently, BMW has no plans to ditch the radical plug-in hybrid powertrain, which put out 356 horsepower and a stonkin' 590 pound-feet of torque in the concept. That means we'll get something similar to the turbocharged three-cylinder diesel range extender and twin electric motors powered by a lithium polymer battery pack that was featured in Frankfurt. Sounds great so far, and BMW claims the performance will be even better than the 4.8-second 0 to 60 run quoted for the concept.

BMW 2013

Naturally, some of the Vision's more outlandish exterior bits will go the way of the Dodo, but IL reports BMW's target of weight is still under 3,000 pounds, meaning that high-tech composites and construction techniques are a veritable lock. Price for this next-gen eco-friendly supercar? Nothing announced – but if you have to ask... well, you know the rest.

M3 BMW

First produced in 1986 with the E30 Chassis, the BMW M Division revolutionized the performance street vehicle category with the E30 BMW M3. The E30 BMW M3 was first offered in a street version to allow the BMW M Division to qualify for the touring racing series that was further popularized by high end race teams such as Hamann, AC Schnitzer and Pro Drive.

The BMW M3 was so wildly popular among BMW enthusiasts that the M Division was established and the next generation BMW M3 was produced with the E36 M3. The M3 tradition continued with the revolutionary 333HP S54 Powered E46 M3 and now the new S65 V8 powered E90 M3, E92 M3 and E93 M3. The M division specializes in taking standard BMW 3-Series models and tweaking them for maximum performance and lightweight design. While the M division is very good at producing gains, they do leave room to increase power, decrease weight and improve handling for the BMW M3.

Ferrari

Ferrari. A name that is synonymous with winning. Over 50 years of racing heritage; a heritage which includes several Formula One titles, as well as overall victories in Sports Car Racing at some of the most difficult race circuits known to exist. Tracks like Spa, the Nurburgring, and the great French classic held every year at Le Mans. Nearly every challenge the Prancing Horse of Maranello has undertaken in the last 60 years has resulted in victory. One series however was not intimidated by Italy's best. That series was the Can-Am Challenge, held between 1966 and 1974 in North America. The Can-Am, as it would become known, was perhaps the most exciting road racing series the planet has ever seen. Governed by the Sports Car Club of America, the series was run in accordance to the FIA's Group 7 rules for Sports Racing Cars. Group 7 rules were rather unlimited in many ways, which led manufacturers of all levels to run free with creativity and build some of the most technically advanced cars of their time.

Ferrari

Ferrari

In 1966, the Can Am's first actual season, the European factories had little interest in a series that only lasted from September to November and was comprised of just six events. Most of the entrants were independent teams. Teams like McLaren and Surtees, both headed by Formula 1 Champions that saw the Can Am as an opportunity to build their reputations as manufacturers. Ferrari already possessed a championship winning reputation. However, a young Mexican driver by the name of Pedro Rodriguez would fire Ferrari's first shot in what would soon become the hottest road racing series on the planet.

Bridgehampton, New York was the second round of the inaugural Can Am Series. The 2.85 mile course located in eastern Long Island would be the first time that a Ferrari would race in a Can Am event. Pedro Rodriguez was entered in a Dino 206S Coupe that September weekend. The young Mexican driver was able to achieve 22nd position on a grid filled with open-top sports racers powered by thundering American small block V-8s. The race would result in the little Ferrari not finishing due to the loss of a wheel. Rodriguez would appear again at Laguna Seca with the Dino, this time with a 18th place overall to show for his effort.

Honda Car

Honda Car are one of the most recognised names in the world of motor car manufacturing and have earned a well deserved reputation for building quality vehicles that motorists around the world just love to drive.

Want to drive in style? Then consider the Honda Civic. The Civic comes as a 3-door, 5-door, Hybrid or Type R model. With a variety of options to choose from in the range as a whole the number of features which come as standard are mind boggling. They include SSD (solid state drive), an integrated satellite navigation system complete with traffic message channel and integrated Bluetooth on the top of the range Type S GT-T model.

Honda have learned valuable lessons from their involvement in Formula One motor racing to make the new Civic even better. Cruise control, audio, driver information and voice recognition satellite navigation have all combined to give what Honda call a "Dual Zone" drivers environment.

Honda Car

The Accord is one of Hondas top models and the latest range has added flair. The Accord comes in five options, the ES, ES GT, EX, EX GT and the top of the range Type S. The range comes with a choice of diesel or petrol engines and with manual or automatic transmission. The exception is the Type S which is powered via a 2.2 iDTEC engine with manual transmission.

Added to the Honda Accord range is the Tourer. The Accord Tourer offers the same choice of petrol engine as the rest of the Accord stable but for the first time offers automatic transmission with the diesel version.

The new CR-V range offers diesel performance as Honda have incorporated the 2.2 i-DTEC engine. The i-DTEC is a more powerful yet cleaner engine. It boasts enhanced acceleration and is hailed as one of the quietest diesel engines to have been developed. The CR-V also comes with a choice of automatic or manual transmission.

Honda Car

The Honda FR-V offers both style and comfort. The FR-V is a car built to carry up to six people. The style is exemplified by is chrome door handles, grille, and roof rails giving the car both a touch of elegance as well as a sporty look.

The company are rightly proud of their green credentials and they developed this a step further with the 1.3 IMA (Petrol Hybrid) CVT engine in their latest Honda Insight. This engine switches between electric and petrol power.

For those seeking a compact car the Honda Jazz is hard to beat. Compact it may be, but the Jazz offers plenty of space on the inside for both driver and passengers. The whole vehicle is a testament to the Honda design skills as they have managed to introduce a longer wheel base while compacting the engine space, to create more cabin and storage room.

Ford Car

The automobile industry has been displaying tremendous growth of late. In this growing market, as of now, Ford is among the top three automotive majors as far as sales are concerned. The car maker has been investing heavily in India and has great plans of expanding its base in the country. A lot of investment has already put in to enhance capacity at the Chennai facility. In this article, let's have a look at Ford's inventory of cars. Ford Car have been doing great in India and it's time we had a look at the car maker's complete inventory in the Indian car market.

Ford Endeavour:
With its tough looks and the shift-on-fly four-wheel drive, the Endeavour sets the road on fire. Such is the performance of this macho Ford Car. The 3-litre turbo diesel engine spews out 154 bhp and the engine has been mated to a five speed automatic transmission. The car's off-road dynamics are splendid too.

Ford Car

Ford Fiesta:
Spirited and quick to respond with the avant garde Dura technology, the Fiesta combines its high stability with extraordinary driving ease. In India, this Ford car is available with a choice of 1.6-litre petrol variants and 1.4-litre diesel engines. The five-speed manual transmission allows crisp and accurate gear shifts. The compact luxury sedan from Ford's stables has cosy interiors and top-notch safety features too. Acceleration and ride quality are satisfactory.

Ford Fusion:
This Ford car has a bold and practical appearance. However, the car maker has not been receiving too many numbers from this model and it has been speculated that the car may slowly walk out of the market. Ford claims that this is the smallest and lightest car with the latest engine from the car maker. Sad but true, some time from now, we may not see this spacious and sleek model around.

Ford Car

Ford Ikon:
The Ford Ikon is a charm that occupies Indian roads. The athletic bumpers, the chic and glossy finish, the roomy interiors and the smooth performance just draw people towards it. The DuraTorq TDCi engine is capable of churning out 67 bhp of power. The fuel-efficient diesel engine delivers an overall mileage of 17.9 kmpl while the petrol engine delivers an overall fuel economy of 11.65 kmpl. Even beyond 4,000 rpm, the car shows no sign of vibration; it is that firm. The engine snarls and is cool for daring young drivers. This Ford car has posed enough competition to other contenders in the same segment.
