As I posted the beautiful cars series, I kept thinking of the cost of this obsession - the wars, the damage to this world, our home.

Am not sure if this is permitted on Flickr - to use photos from a newspaper gallery - but some of these (there are 40) of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico are so incredible...
