New car (not the smell, the car)

This is Isabelle's new car. It's a new (to us) Saturn. This is my first practical photo-a-day... meaning that there's actually a point to this shot.
My dad just got a new hip. He wanted to see this car that was parked outside his house, but couldn't walk (he has a new hip). So I snapped a quick shot and showed him on my camera. Problem solved.
You could never pull off something like this 100 years ago (unless you're Marty McFly (or older Biff)).

NEW ZEALAND 2006 ---LICENSE PLATE, AAA-000 SERIES SHORT DIES

New Zealand license plate of the current style of the three letters, three numbers using the newer style short fonts. This plate was issued in 2006. At first the old style tall fonts used during the AA0000 series were continued at the beginning of this series but now a shorter different style font is used.

NEW JERSEY 1952 ---FARM USE LICENSE PLATE

In 1952 New Jersey farm use plates were issued with tab slots on either side of the "52" date like other NJ types to be tabbed for future years. But in 1953 farm use plates were issued a new 1953 dated license plate. This plate is larger than the current standardized license plates of today and made of a very heavy gauged steel.
